About Darcie:

Darcie Shannon is a licensed Realtor with Realm Real Estate Professionals. With over ten years of personal and professional experience, Darcie brings her clients a unique 360 degree perspective of the real estate industry. Ms. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Arizona State University with a major in Real Estate and a minor in Communications. After graduation, she accepted a position with GMAC’s (now CapMark) Commercial Mortgage Division. Her successful 8 year career with GMAC resulted in attaining the position of Vice President – Underwriting. Over the years Darcie worked closely with brokers, borrowers, appraisers, title companies and inspectors throughout the entire loan process. She has closed deals ranging from $60,000 to $72M in all property types, residential, multifamily, office, industrial, and retail.

Although her corporate career had always been priority, Darcie still managed to create her own portfolio of properties and help family and friends purchase investment properties. By the time she was 30, she owned 12 rental properties and had bought and sold over 16.

Darcie always had the dream to help others in their pursuit of financial freedom through smart investments and finding the home of people’s dreams – which lead her to the Austin market. Currently, Darcie works with individuals with different needs - buyers, sellers, primary homes, second homes and investment properties in the Austin and outlying areas.
